Who We Are...
Dr. Clifton Smith
Dr. Clifton Smith is the owner and Medical Director of Kentucky Dermatology & Skin Clinic (established 1973) and Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center (established 1994). He specializes in skin cancer surgery, general dermatology, dermatological surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. John Roth
Dr. John Roth joined Kentucky Dermatology in 1992, and then Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center in 1994. Dr. Roth specializes in skin cancer, general dermatology, dermatological surgery, as well as cosmetic surgery procedures.
Ragan Davies, APRN
Ragan is an Adult Nurse Practitioner for both Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center and Kentucky Dermatology & Skin Cancer Clinic. She joined the practice in June 2010. Ragan is a Kentucky Licensed Nurse Practitioner and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also affiliated with the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Association, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Janie Sheehy McQueen, RN, BSN
Janie joined Cosmetic Surgery Center in January 2004. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Janie is certified by the Institute For Aesthetic Medicine (IAM) for Basic Light Applications, and is certified and proficient in cosmetic lasers, such as Sciton and Lumenis. She specializes in laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, and skin rejuvenation, to name a few.
Crystal King
Crystal is the Marketing Director for both Kentucky Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center, and manages Cosmetic Surgery Center. She joined the practice in November 2009. All advertising or marketing inquiries should be directed to Crystal at info@lexingtoncsc.com.
Consultations…
Consultations are complimentary and take approximately 20 minutes. Educating yourself about treatments is important. All clients new to a procedure benefit from an initial consultation designed to review treatment options which suit your skin and your preferences. You will receive information related to these treatments and we encourage you to ask questions.
Arrival...
Arrive approximately 15 minutes before your appointment. This will give you time to settle in and complete any necessary forms. Our clients enjoy prompt appointments, so treatments begin and end on time.
Clothing...
Depending on the type of service, there may not be a need to disrobe. Our professional staff respects your privacy and wants you to feel comfortable.
Physical Concerns...
Concerns relating to pregnancy, impaired mobility, allergies, recent surgeries or medical conditions should be discussed with our physician or providers prior to your visit.
Your Comfort...
If at any time during your treatment, you do not feel comfortable with the temperature, pressure or technique being used, please do not hesitate to advise your service provider. They will appreciate being able to make your visit more comfortable.
Shhh…
We respectfully request cell phones be turned off. It is for your peace of mind as well as those around you. As a courtesy to our guests, we ask that children not be brought to appointments. The minimum age for treatments is 16.
